The Peacocks, out of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Association, come to Auburn with a 1-4 record. They are coached by former Seton Hall great Shaheen Holloway, in his first season with the program. The Peacocks were picked 10th out of 11 teams in the MAAC. They played one of Auburn’s upcoming opponents in North Carolina State earlier this year and fell 85-57. In terms of players, they are led by senior guard Davauhnte Turner, who is averaging 19.4 points a game so far for the Peacocks. The other double figure scorer for Saint Peter’s is forward Samuel Idowu, averaging 14.
