DALLAS – Freshmen Brandon Mancheno and Wells Padgett continue their torrid golf as No. 13 Auburn moved into a tie for the lead with No. 10 Florida at 8-under after the Trinity Forest Invitational second round at the par 71, 7,302-yard Trinity Forest Golf Club on Monday.
After both Tigers were 3-under in the first round, Mancheno fired another 68 and is tied for the individual lead at 6-under with Southern California’s Justin Suh. The Jacksonville, Fla., native notched four birdies at Nos. 1, 10, 11 and 14, making birdie on the same three back nine holes in both rounds.
