It would seem that graduating high school, enrolling early at Auburn and participating in spring practice was the right thing to do for freshman defensive end Marlon Davidson.
Davidson is a four-star recruit who was a top-five defensive end and a top-30 player overall nationally in the 2016 recruiting class. He enrolled in January and made an outstanding first impression on his teammates and coaches during spring ball.
Senior defensive tackle Montravius Adams said Davidson stood out above the rest of Auburn’s nine early enrollees.
“Him coming in early, I think that was a good thing,” Adams said.
