Tampa, Fla. - The Auburn women had a strong Day 1 at the NCAA East Preliminaries as junior Kylee Carter (javelin), senior Dominique Bullock (long jump), freshman Tori McKinley (shot put), junior Peyton Montgomery (javelin) each qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships, June 6-9, with strong performances Thursday. All four will be making their first trip to the NCAA Championships.
The school record holder in the javelin, Carter had a big second throw of 53.68/176-1 to finish third overall as her mark was the second-best in school history.
