It was quite the shock Saturday to hear that Quentin Groves had passed away. The initial cause of death is being reported as a heart attack.
The 32-year-old was in Trinidad, which is where his wife is from, when he passed away in his sleep.
In 2008 medical tests revealed that Groves had Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which causes a rapid heartbeat.
Despite his condition, he finished his four year career at Auburn with 26 sacks, tying the all-time school record, and his senior class finished with the most wins of any class with 50.
He was then drafted in the second round of the NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars where he spent two seasons.
