Former Auburn and NFL linebacker Takeo Spikes thinks it’s time for a new offensive approach for the Tigers.
Spikes joined the “Cube Show” on WUMP-AM in Huntsville, Ala., with Cole Cubelic and Arky Shea on Thursday morning, and was asked his opinion on Rhett Lashlee leaving Auburn to take the offensive coordinator position at Connecticut.
“I wish Rhett the best, I really do,” he said. “But when I look at what we have coming back next year, with Jarrett (Stidham) at quarterback, I just want to see an offense that’s catered to our personnel.”
Spikes is confident about Auburn’s near-future because of its current personnel and thinks Auburn is in a great position to win soon.
