Former Auburn running back Roc Thomas has found a new home.
Jacksonville State announced Monday that Thomas has signed his financial aid agreement with the school.
“Roc is a great addition for our team,” Jacksonville State coach John Grass said in a statement. “We lost some key players at running back and it’s really good to get him in and help shore up the depth at that position.”
Thomas, who will be a junior this season, was widely rumored to be heading to Jacksonville State after Auburn granted his release on May 31. NCAA rules allow FBS players who transfer to FCS programs to play immediately.
