Former Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall, already facing suspension for a PED violation, has been waived by the New York Jets, the team announced through its website on Thursday.

Marshall was suspended without pay earlier this week, although he would have been permitted to participate in offseason activities and preseason games.
The former quarterback switched to cornerback after signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2015.
