Former Auburn defensive tackle Antwuan Jackson Jr. is heading to Blinn Junior College in Brenham, Texas, 247Sports.com reported Monday.
Jackson, a four-star recruit in the 2016 class who redshirted last fall, was blocked by Auburn from transferring to a handful of schools, including Ohio State. Jackson’s appeal of the decision was denied.
Former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton attended Blinn after leaving Florida.
Jackson, from Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove in the Atlanta suburbs, was a top-10 defensive tackle nationally as well as a top-50 prospect overall in the 2016 recruiting class.
