Football. 'They're respecting us': Auburn's defense on the rise

AUBURN, Ala. u2015 Auburn's defense is playing better. Montravius Adams likes the sound of that.

"They're respecting us a little bit more," said the Auburn defensive lineman. "We like hearing that rather than the Auburn defense isn't that good. With the good coaches we have, we're going to keep getting better."

Auburn has allowed one offensive touchdown in each of the last two games, and it has allowed the third fewest yards in the Southeastern Conference the last two games. The 243 yards it allowed Georgia last week were the fewest against an SEC opponent since holding Florida to 194 yards in 2011.
