AUBURN, Ala. u2015 Will Muschamp is ready to do some coaching.
"The talking season is over. We need to play some football," says Auburn's new defensive coordinator, who will get his wish, starting with the first day of fall practice Tuesday.
Muschamp coached up the Tigers' defense in the spring, but now it's time for more serious work as Auburn will spend August preparing for a football season that begins Aug. 5 against Louisville in Atlanta. The Tigers will begin the season ranked No. 7 in the coaches poll, and as the favorite to win the Southeastern Conference championship, according to a vote at SEC Media Days last month.
