During his time at Auburn, linebacker Kris Frost has been an impact player for the Tigers' defense. Entrenched in Auburn football history, Frost recorded a key block during the miraculous "Kick Six" to allow Chris Davis' 100-yard field goal touchdown return in the 2013 Iron Bowl.
Named to the preseason Butkus Award list in 2014, Frost quickly became a staple for the Auburn defense. He was third on the team with 89 tackles, while also racking up 3.5 sacks and 10 tackles-for-loss. Against SEC rival South Carolina, he contributed a career-high 14 tackles. In an early-season road matchup against Big 12 Conference opponent Kansas State, Frost picked up two sacks and forced a fumble.
