AUBURN, Ala. u2015 Rhett Lashlee says he likes what he saw in quarterback Sean White in his first college start in what just happened to be his first college game.
Following the lead of head coach Gus Malzahn, Auburn's offensive coordinator endorsed the way White handled himself against Mississippi State last weekend. White will try to build on that in Saturday's 3 p.m. homecoming game against San Jose State.
"He's done fine this week in practice. I think for that not only being his first start, but being his first collegiate snaps, he gave us a good shot in the arm a little bit and did some things really well," Lashlee said after Wednesday's practice.
