AUBURN, Ala. — Sean White "practiced extremely well" Tuesday afternoon after being named Auburn's starting quarterback reports the guy who should know.
"Good energy, good focus," said coach Gus Malzahn. "His teammates really responded well to him."
Malzahn said Tuesday morning White would take over the starting quarterback job from Jeremy Johnson. White's first college snap will come against Mississippi State at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
"He's very accurate. He can run our entire offense. We feel comfortable calling everything," Malzahn said during Wednesday's SEC coaches teleconference.
