AUBURN, Ala. u2015 The temperature on the cell phone said it was 99 degrees. That was perfect weather for Auburn's defense on the first day of fall practice Tuesday.
The Tigers' defense from the indoor practice facility to fast-paced drills outside that mimicked their fast-paced offensive counterparts' past.
That's how Auburn kicked off fall practice as it began preparation for the Sept. 5 season-opener against Louisville, and everything beyond.
As promised, offensive line coach J.B. Grimes was there coaching his players, a week after having successful surgery to remove a cancer on his tongue.
