Sophomore Tray Matthews comes into the season with high expectations for himself and the rest of the Auburn defense. As a freshman at Georgia, he played in eight games with six starts during the 2013 season. Matthews was a vital part of the Bulldogs' defense, recording 36 tackles and an interception. He was at his best in high-pressure games, recording 12 tackles against No. 7 Auburn and eight solo tackles against No. 8 Clemson. He will look to build on that success this year for the Tigers.
Matthews, who sat out last season after transferring, kept his grades above a 3.
