AUBURN, Ala. – During Saturday’s game against Mississippi State, the Auburn football team will be wearing decals to help raise awareness for prostate cancer in conjunction with an SEC-wide initiative honoring former Commissioner Mike Slive. However, September is an awareness month for six cancers, and the Jordan-Hare Stadium video board will pay tribute to those causes on Friday, Sept. 25 by lighting up the Auburn sky in their respective colors.
From 7-9 p.m., the video board will alternate between the chosen colors for Childhood Cancer (gold), Gynecologic Cancer (teal), Leukemia and Lymphoma (orange), Ovarian Cancer (teal), Prostate Cancer (light blue) and Thyroid Cancer (teal, pink, blue).
