AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn scored all sorts of ways, successfully executed a fake punt and generally had a good time beating Idaho 56-34 Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium in a proper tune-up for next week's Iron Bowl.

The game likely as a confidence booster for quarterback Jeremy Johnson, who threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more in a solid performance.

It was the most points Auburn has scored this season. Another good moment: Walk-on quarterback Tucker Tuberville played in his first game as his dad, former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville, watched from the stands.
