BIRMINGHAM, Ala. u2015 He threw one pass the whole game. One pass. Whole game. But Jeremy Johnson delivered the spark Auburn needed in the Birmingham Bowl in a three-minute span that turned everything around.
His 11-yard touchdown pass to Jason Smith late in the third quarter and his 5-yard touchdown run on the first play of the fourth quarter gave Auburn all it needed to beat Memphis 31-10 in front of a record Birmingham Bowl crowd of 59,430.
It was quite the turnaround for Johnson, who didn't start because Sean White won that job in practice.
