The Auburn quarterback stepped in for injured Sean White in a big way, hitting his first nine passes, getting a nice assist from the Tigers' defense throughout and together they combined to beat Texas A&M 26-10 Saturday night in Kyle Field.
It was Auburn's most complete game of the season.
Johnson, who started the first three games before being replaced by White, threw a touchdown pass to give Auburn a 7-3 lead, then watched Jovon Robinson score from the 1 for a 14-3 advantage with 13:40 left in the second quarter.
