In the off-season the defense loaded up on new talent with the addition of 5 star OLB Owen Pappoe and nearly all starters from last year are returning, several of them turning down the opportunity to be first and second round draft picks. The Tigers’ defense will be lethal under the leadership of effective veterans Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson and can square up against any team on Auburn’s schedule.
Last year’s biggest stress came from the reliability of the offensive line, but this year the line comes in with experience and will return all five of its starters.
