AUBURN, Ala. u2015 Jeremy Johnson said the game plan was to spread the passes among his receivers and to throw deep.
The Auburn quarterback did both Saturday while accounting for four touchdowns in Saturday's 56-34 win over Idaho.
"We've been preaching to just spread the ball more and give those guys a chance to make plays, and they did," said Johnson, who threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more, now heading into next week's game against Alabama in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
"I've been confident, and this game is just a lot of momentum for this team and for myself," Johnson said.
