AUBURN, Ala. u2015 The guy who led Auburn to the biggest comeback in Iron Bowl history will be in the locker room when the Tigers meet Alabama in Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday.

Cam Newton will be Auburn's honorary coach.

Newton, an Auburn graduate, and a former Auburn quarterback, and currently the quarterback of the unbeaten Carolina Panthers, will be on hand for the 2:30 p.m. game. His statue will stand guard with Auburn's other Heisman Trophy winners on the outside of Jordan-Hare during the proceedings.

It was Newton who led Auburn from a 24-0 deficit to a 28-27 win in Tuscaloosa in 2010 in one of the last stops on the way to the national championship.
