AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn kicker Daniel Carlson's post-season recognition continued Monday when won a spot on the Associated Press' All-Southeastern Conference football team, becoming one of only four players to earn first-team honors by a unanimous vote.
Carlson was a finalist for the Lou Groza Award, which goes to the nation's top kicker. He also was named first-team All-SEC by the league coaches and was named second-team All-American by the Walter Camp Foundation.
He was named the team's MVP at Auburn annual football banquet Saturday night.
Offensive lineman Braden Smith was named to the All-SEC second-team by the league coaches Monday.
