AUBURN, Ala. u2015 Jeremy Johnson threw a touchdown pass. John Franklin III ran a very long way. And everybody was put under duress.
Auburn's quarterbacks didn't wear their usual non-contact jerseys in Saturday's scrimmage, which made them eligible to be tackled u2015 and eligible to impress. Coach Gus Malzahn said he was pleased how Johnson, Franklin and Sean White handled the day that began in Jordan-Hare Stadium and concluded in the indoor facility, all in front of SEC officials.
"We'll learn more today from a quarterback standpoint than we did the first seven practices," Malzahn said.
