AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn ran its winning streak to six games Saturday and jumped into the Top 10 in the coaches poll Sunday.
The Tigers are ranked No. 8 by the coaches, their highest ranking in that poll this season.
Auburn was ranked ninth in the first College Football Playoff standings last Tuesday. The Tigers will learn their spot in the Associated Press Top 25 later Sunday, and see the second College Football Playoff standings Tuesday night.
Auburn was eighth in Sunday's Super 16 poll produced by the Football Writers Association of America and the National Football Foundation.
