Auburn, Ala. – Wide receiver Darvin Adams registered his second consecutive strong performance for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, catching seven passes for 62 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown, but it wasn’t enough as the Blue Bombers fell 36-22 to the Calgary Stampeders in Week Two action in the CFL.
Adams ranks in the Top 10 in the CFL in receiving yards (167, 4th), receptions (12, t-7th) and receiving touchdowns (2, 3rd) through the second week of the season.
Defensive back Jonathon Mincy recorded six tackles as the Montreal Alouettes moved to 2-0 on the season with a 28-13 victory over the Ottawa Redblacks.
