With the departure of Will Muschamp, there was some worry about whether or not Auburn would be able to hold on to a number of defensive commits. So far, none have decommitted, but there are those who are a little more open than they were.
One of the biggest concerns for Auburn was holding onto 5* Defensive End Marlon Davidson. He's the cornerstone of the defensive class, and plays in an area of need for Auburn. That's particularly true if Carl Lawson leaves for the NFL. Over the last few days, he maintained that he was "75% committed" to the Tigers, while Georgia and Alabama were pushing hard for him.
