After a disappointing 2015, the Auburn Tigers enter the 2016 football season with a lot of new faces along with a lot of questions. Perhaps the biggest of which is how much can the Tiger offense rebound from last year’s 9th place SEC finish in total offense.
However, there are reasons for optimism. For one, the Tigers will have an experienced offensive line. And then there is the reuniting of Gus Malzahn with new offensive line coach Herb Hand. The two worked together at Tulsa to produce the nation’s number one offense in 2007. Their reunion should mean there will be plenty of opportunities for players to have a breakout year.
