When the Auburn Tigers football team was selected to play in the Birmingham Bowl in Birmingham, AL many wondered how fans would support the team going to such a low-tier bowl game after expectations were so high at the beginning of the year.
Well, Auburn fans have done their part as they’ve sold old their allotment of tickets for the upcoming bowl game on December 30 against the Memphis Tigers at Legion Field. The school was first issued 8,545 orders in its initial allotment. After those were sold out, the school asked for an additional allotment of at least 2,000 more orders, which were then sold out within a day.
