Former Florida State quarterback John Franklin III plans to announce Wednesday that he is transferring to Auburn, a source told ESPN's Joe Schad.
Franklin will have two years of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder is a dual threat who emulates former Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall.
Franklin has been enrolled at back-to-back junior college national champion East Mississippi Community College, which wrapped up its season Oct. 22.
