If you live in the state of Alabama, you know by now that there maybe a new name entering politics in the next few weeks. In the last 18 hours, multiple news outlets have reported that former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville is considering running for governor.
Since taking the Texas Tech job in 2010 Tuberville has maintained a residence at Lake Martin and has spent his summers there. He moved back full time after being released from Cincinnati and recently started writing a column for Auburn Undercover. It was that 247Sports news outlet that broke the news of his political aspirations.
