Daniel Carlson chosen as candidate for Senior CLASS Award

AUBURN, Ala. – On Thursday, Auburn kicker Daniel Carlson was selected as a candidate for the 2017 Senior CLASS Award in college football. The award recognizes notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.

On the field, Carlson was a Lou Groza Award finalist in both 2015 and 2016. He was also named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Year in 2016. This season, he’s 8 of 12 on his field-goal attempts and he recently went 3 of 3 at Missouri, including two field goals from more than 50 yards.
