Kamryn Pettway has been on the shelf, but with Kerryon Johnson recovering from injury, Pettway may return in the Peach Bowl and set the tone for 2018.
“I don’t know the answer to that quite yet,” Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said last week when asked if Pettway will play against undefeated UCF. “It’s hard for me to answer that right now. Maybe as it gets a little closer, I can be a little more accurate.”
Pettway, who led Auburn in rushing with 1,224 yards in 2016, has missed the past six games since suffering a shoulder blade injury at Arkansas in late October.
