Burgreen batted .333 (3-for-9) with two runs scored, a triple, a stolen base and a sacrifice. But perhaps his biggest contributions of the regional came defensively.
In Auburn's opening game with College of Charleston, Burgreen garnered national attention including being the No. 3 play on the Sportscenter Top 10 for his fifth inning catch in left field. Burgreen back tracked to the wall and leaped with his glove outstretched to rob Charleston's Morgan Phillips of a home run for the second out of the inning.
Then in Sunday's finale, Burgreen stood toe-to-toe with the left field wall once again as he crashed hard into barrier just moments after making a running catch at the warning track to take away an extra-base hit from Charleston's Bradley Jones.
