AUBURN, Ala. - Former Auburn Tiger and current Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson has been elected an All-Star Game starter for the second consecutive year Major League Baseball announced on Monday.
Donaldson will also compete in his second-straight Home Run Derby after making his debut last season. The Pensacola, Fla. native is hitting .302 through 86 games in 2015 with 21 home runs and 60 RBI.
Donaldson, who played at Auburn from 2005-07, set an MLB record with more than 14 million votes cast to earn the starting spot at third base for the American League.
