COLUMBIA, Mo. – Ben Braymer struck out 11 in five scoreless relief innings as Auburn baseball battled back for a 11-9 win over Missouri on Thursday night at Taylor Stadium.
Braymer entered with Auburn trailing 9-8 in the sixth and went the distance to secure the victory and improve to 3-2 on the season. His 11 strikeouts were a career high and the most for an Auburn pitcher this season.
“I’m just so proud of our guys,” Auburn head coach Butch Thompson said. “Ben Braymer had 11 strikeouts in five innings. There was never any need to get anyone up in the bullpen.
