AUBURN, Ala. -- It's time for post-season baseball for Auburn, and that means coach Sunny Golloway is thinking about playing in this week's Southeastern Conference Tournament.
And beyond.
Auburn plays Kentucky at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Regions Park in Hoover in the first-day, single-elimination phase of the tournament. Golloway made a case for Auburn playing in the NCAA Tournament as well during an SEC teleconference Tuesday.
His first witness? Auburn's RPI, which is 23 nationally. Auburn's 34-22 overall record against tough competition stands out as well, he said.
