Incoming freshman Anika Bolu010díková picked up a big win in the Slovak Amateur Open last week to highlight a busy week of action for Auburn women’s golfers in summer competition.
Bolu010díková, from Martin, Slovakia, won her native country’s national amateur championship with rounds of 73-71-74-72=290, winning by one shot at Hruba Borsa.
“It was a great tournament,” she said. “I played with good players and the conditions were very difficult, a very strong wind.”
