It’s a big night for Auburn women’s basketball forward Unique Thompson, who hopes her biggest dream will come true and she’ll be picked in the 2021 WNBA Draft. Thompson is coming off a superb senior season despite the tough year for the Auburn women’s basketball program and has made a lasting legacy over her four-year career.
In the 2020 season, Thompson racked up her 1,048th rebound, moving her ahead of DeWanna Bonner into second place all-time at Auburn. It marks the second Bonner record that Thompson broke in her time on the Plains in addition to the double-double record she broke with 57 at the end of the season.
