After a difficult loss to Middle Tennessee State on Saturday in overtime, the men’s Auburn basketball team (4-2) will play at home for the first time in over two weeks as they play host to the 8-1 Mercer Bears.
Despite a career-high 28 point effort from junior Kareem Canty, including eight made three pointers, the Tigers failed to pick up a win in Nashville, Tenn. against the Blue Raiders on Saturday. The big game increased Canty’s team-leading points per game average to 19. He also leads the team in assists with 36.
Senior Cinmeon Bowers had a monster game against MTSU as well grabbing 19 rebounds to go along with 19 points.
