Eugene, Ore. - The sophomore trio of Nathon Allen, Akeem Bloomfield and Raheem Chambers all advanced to Friday's finals during Day 1 of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field Wednesday.
Chambers ran a personal-best 10.05 100m to finish fourth in his heat and fourth overall to advance to his first NCAA Outdoor finals. The Kingston, Jamaica native was 16th a year ago and was third at this year's NCAA Indoors at 60m. Chambers is Auburn's first 100m finalist outdoors since Harry Adams in 2012.
