Cody Nulph was stellar and so was Auburn as the Tigers knocked off Ole Miss 14-0 for an important series win Saturday.
Ole Miss (20-20, 8-10 SEC) won the first game of the doubleheader 7-2 Saturday.
The Tigers (25-16, 7-11) had a season-best 19 hits, including Nulph's 4-for-4 performance with four RBIs, in the victory Saturday afternoon.
Auburn grabbed a 7-0 lead with a five-run rally in the fifth, which included a triple from Austin Murphy. Five different Tigers had an RBI in the inning, including Nulph's two-run double.
Starter Rocky McCord struck out six batters in 6 1/3 scoreless innings for the Tigers.
