Auburn Softball set numerous records in the scoring department last season. With hitting coach Casey Myers having departed just prior to this season, you had to wonder if there may be a bit of a drop off in production, at least at first.
If you did wonder that, you'd be wrong. Auburn's offense exploded this weekend, scoring more runs in the five games of the Plainsman Invite. Auburn scored more runs (87) in the first five games of 2016 than some teams scored the entire 2015 season.
