Auburn landed a commitment from the No. 1-ranked wide receiver in the country, Kyle Davis, on Wednesday morning.
The 6-foot-2, 218-pound athlete out of Archer High School in Lawrenceville, Georgia, chose the Tigers over in-state Georgia and Tennessee.
Davis announced his decision via Twitter.
As a senior, Davis has totaled 773 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 47 receptions.
The four-star prospect and 28th-ranked player in the ESPN 300 for the 2016 class originally committed South Carolina but backed off that pledge before the season.
Davis, meanwhile, built a strong relationship with Auburn assistant coach Dameyune Craig.
