Auburn should be better-represented in 2017 NFL draft

Related Topics: Blake Countess, Defensive end

Auburn had just three players come off the board during the 2016 NFL draft, and for the third year in a row, the earliest Tiger picked went in the third round.

Tackle Shon Coleman (third round) and wide receiver Ricardo Louis (fourth round) are headed to Cleveland, while cornerback Blake Countess (sixth round) will begin his career in Philadelphia. Names familiar to Auburn fans – Peyton Barber, Kris Frost, Cassanova McKinzy, Duke Williams – went undrafted. Will 2017 have more Tigers hearing their names called?
