As the spring season draws to a close, Auburn is ready to unveil its revamped and reinvigorated defense as well as its reloaded offense when the team takes the field at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m. for the team’s annual A-Day spring game.
“(I’m) very excited because people look at Auburn as an offensive team,” defensive lineman Maurice Swain said. “We want to change their mindset. Auburn started as a defensive team, ever since I've been a fan. We're just trying to get back to it.”
That has been one of the largest focal points of the offseason, especially after the hiring of new defensive coordinator Will Muschamp.
