Thirteen freshman are listed on the Auburn two-deep roster – eight on offense and five on defense – for the first game against Louisville this Saturday in the Georgia Dome.. The Tigers released the depth chart this morning.
Three transfer players have earned a starting role. Michigan transfer Blake Countess will start at cornerback, Austin Golson, a transfer from Ole Miss, will start at center, and former Georgia safety Tray Matthews will hold down one of the safety spots.
The off season question of which one of Auburn running backs would get the nod was settled with Roc Thomas listed as the starter, Peyton Barber as his backup, and Jovon Robinson as third string.
