Auburn RB Jovon Robinson has 1,000-yard goal

Enter Jovon Robinson.

A five-star recruit, Robinson originally signed with the Tigers in 2012 but was ruled ineligible by the NCAA because of an academic scandal; his grades at Memphis Wooddale were changed by his guidance counselor, albeit unbeknownst to him, in an effort to make Robinson eligible.

After two seasons at Georgia Military Academy, in which he rushed for 3,198 yards and 43 touchdowns and was considered the nation’s No. 1 junior college recruit, he re-signed with Auburn and enrolled in January 2015.

Robinson was named the starter at running back last season, but sprained his ankle during the opener against Louisville in the Georgia Dome.
