Auburn redshirt junior quarterback Sean White will not play in the Tigers’ A-Day spring game, coach Gus Malzahn said Saturday.
White has been limited this spring while recovering from a broken right (throwing) forearm sustained in Auburn’s Sugar Bowl loss to Oklahoma in January, which was expected.
“We’re just not going to take a chance on somebody running into his arm,” Malzahn told reporters. “Things are going great and (we) just don’t want him falling down. So no, he won’t participate in A-Day.”
In addition to the forearm, White also dealt with a right shoulder injury during the second half of last season.
